Signing up for childcare is easier than ever with the free Out-of-School-Time Community Sustainability Program. This membership will cover childcare needs - specifically the weekly after-school program, and a majority of holidays/professional development days at the Truro Central School. When signing up for your first activity you will be prompted to register for a membership and build a profile. This information will be stored and expedite registration for future activities. The goals of Youth Sports are to provide children an opportunity to play, exercise, and learn sportsmanship in a fun way. Any child or parent who acts in ways that prohibit these goals, threaten the physical or emotional safety and development of children, referees, or coaches, will be unable to attend the Program.
Practice cancellations will be determined by the team's coach. Coaches may email or call parents in the event of cancellations.
Game cancellations will be determined by the Recreation Department.
Teams may be combined with other towns in an effort to field a full team.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Players must wear shin guards. Cleats are recommended for children in grades 3-6. Used cleats can be borrowed from the Rec Department or cleats that children have grown out of may be exchanged for newer sizes. Water bottles and weather appropriate clothing are strongly encouraged.
