Out-of-School-Time Community Sustainability Program - After-School Program: Month of November Membership Description
Signing up for childcare is easier than ever with the free Out-of-School-Time Community Sustainability Program. This membership will cover childcare needs - specifically the weekly after-school program, and a majority of holidays/professional development days at the Truro Central School. When signing up for your first activity you will be prompted to register for a membership and build a profile. This information will be stored and expedite registration for future activities. We will be working in the Library garden and having interactive activities at PUMA park.
Starting in January on Tuesdays the OSTP students will be working on an art project at the Library.
Students will be bussed over from TCS to the center at the end of the school day
Pick up will be at the Community center

Youth Basketball - Youth Basketball - Boys 3|4: Practice Youth Basketball is open to children in grades K - 6 who either reside in Truro or attend Truro Central School. Players from neighboring towns may be combined, with approval from the department.Parents, coaches, and children are reminded that Truro Recreation encourages the development of skills, teamwork, and social bonds. The goals of youth sports are to provide children an opportunity to play, exercise, and learn sportsmanship in a fun way. Any child, parent, coach, or spectator who acts in ways that prohibit these goals, threaten the physical or emotional safety and development of children, referees, or coaches, will be unable to attend the program.Seeking Coaches - If interested contact Damion Clements at dclements@truro-ma.gov.Fees:$20.00 per child. MasterCard / Visa accepted. If you are paying by cash or check you will need to contact Truro Recreation to register. $5.00 discount for early registration. Early Registration Deadline: Nov. 15, 2024.Combined Teams:Truro Recreation will make every attempt to create a team of Truro players that will practice and play games in Truro, but due to a lack of coaches and/or players, we may be required to combine with neighboring towns. In the event that Truro Recreation combines with neighboring towns, the result may be that Truro players are attached to other towns and practicing and playing games in that town.
